I saw Angela for PT on my right knee. I have had surgery on both of my knees for ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair quite a few years ago. Due to a hiking injury last year, and for this last year running had become painful on my right knee and running would leave me in pain for a couple days. I was told by others to "stop running" as a solution, but I am in my early 30s and that was not what I wanted for my life. My experience with Angela was amazing, and I am happy to report I am able to run again with no pain during or after! Angela focuses on what your goals are and the exercises are tailored to you specifically each week. I have done PT numerous times at other places and this is by far the best experience I have ever had. I highly recommend Angela if you want someone who will help you get back to where your want to be with your PT and reach your goals.

Dr. Aie has been an absolute godsend in my recovery journey! Every time I’ve mentioned that something hurts, she has always prescribed a training plan that works to both decrease the pain in the short-term and prepare me for returning to playing sports in the long-term. She also plays Ultimate Frisbee like I do, and her ability to connect sport-specific movements with various exercises has been an amazing bonus on top of her PT knowledge. She is also infinitely patient and warm in all of our sessions, and even though I’m there because something is hurting, I always find myself having a pleasant time with her fixing me up. All in all: 11/10, would definitely recommend!!

I've been dealing with repetitive high ankle sprains for 4-5 years. I chose to go here because I really wanted the best, sports-related care for this problem that has been present for so long. Dr. Angela Aie has significantly improved my quality of life. Prior to becoming her patient, I had been dealing with months of intense pain in my neck that would shoot down my arm. Top notch PT. I had nine sessions with Angela over the course of 2+ months for intense sciatica associated with lower back pain. Angela is knowledgeable, skilled at explaining things, and very realistic and accurate in describing the course of treatment and possible outcomes. There was absolutely no hype, no overselling the number of sessions or length of treatment needed. Before Dr. Angela, I had been living with chronic shoulder pain for about a year and a half. I had tried every tip and trick, gone to physical therapy, and was at a point in my life where I was desperate to get better. When I first limped into see Dr. Angela I could barely walk or bear any weight on my right knee. I had stopped walking on the treadmill or even walking outside. Motrin and Tylenol helped a little but I was pretty miserable even sitting. After four sessions with her and doing the home exercises she prescribed, I am so much better! Pretty much back to normal. My knee pain is almost entirely gone and I am back to using the treadmill and doing daily dog walking. If this is not a miracle, it is pretty damn close! And I am very grateful!

A few months ago, I tweaked my left wrist while lifting and wasn't sure what was going on. I tried RICE, compression gloves and so much more - nothing worked. I've been to good PTs, fine PTs and not so great PTs. Angela was one of the best I've worked with - after 6 sessions I have a good toolbox of exercises, I know how to progress them, and if I need more I can go back. I came in for a wrist injury and back pain. My wrist is stronger than it was by a mile and still improving. My back feels stronger and I have exercises both to fend off pain and stretches that help ease it. If someone needs PT there's not anyone in the bay I'd recommend more.

Had a great experience here with Dr. Angela Aie. I came in a few months ago with shoulder problems that I've had for years, which had started to flare up from lifting. After lifting I would feel shoulder and neck pain and tightness and didn't feel confident in my use of the shoulder joint. Dr. Aie helped me rehab the joint and gain a lot more confidence in the way I used my shoulders. Angela herself is both extremely professional and personable. So very thankful for Dr. Angela Aie who worked with me when I finally made the call to go to physical therapy after suffering intense neck pain for two months. I had tried massage therapy, acupuncture, seeing a chiropractor, pain patches, pain relievers, muscle relaxers prescribed by a doctor, etc. Nothing was really working. Have had a fantastic experience working with Dr. Angela. Prior to my physical therapy sessions here, I had spent years and years attempting to treat my hip and lower back tightness and pain issues with foam rolling, massage, visits to the chiropractor, online PT videos, and insufficient PT through health insurance, before I decided to take the gamble with a more immersive physical therapy program. She has been helping me for over a year and a half with exercises to help with EDS, a connective tissue disorder that makes you hypermobile and prone to frequent dislocations. She has been extremely knowledgable and devotes a ton of time into tailoring a program to my condition. When I started seeing Angela, I was in a state of rapidly deteriorating health.
